OUR WORK

The Brewers Hall building located just off Aldermanbury Square in Moorgate is an impressive historical building with over 23,000 sq. ft of office and venue hire space. The building was rebuilt in the 1960’s after being destroyed in WW2 and comprised of three floors.

In 2021, the building underwent a full refurbishment of the existing floors and the addition of a further three floors to provide additional office space. As the building use was split between commercial offices and events space so too were the MEP services coordinated to suite. Our installation included the installation of new AHU ventilation systems on the roof and in the basement to serve the floor spaces.

The central heating and cooling of the building was supplied by a district heating system in the basement plantroom. We installed new CHW & LTHW plate heat exchangers to provide the separation of the building services with those of the City of London.

We also installed water cooled condensers, served by the district cooling, and suppyling VRF cooling and heating to new fan coil units and CAM downflow units within the commercial office floors. The installed downflow units provide tempered air to the floor void which distributes air to the space through floor fan tile units.

Our domestic and public health installation included a portable water service serviced by the central heating and local point of use electrical water heaters.
